LISFE is a festival dedicated to the most original and creative form of filmmaking: short films! 1-3 May 2014 @ Scheltema, Leiden, NL
LISFE is an annual festival held in the historic and beautiful city of Leiden (The Netherlands) dedicated to the most original and creative form of filmmaking: short films. Since 2009 LISFE is run by a multicultural team of about 15 volunteers including expats, locals, international and dutch students.
LISFE believes in and promotes a wider experience of cinema outside cinema theatres and through short films of different genres, origins, purposes, natures, forms and implementations: such as video installations or live performances.
LISFE has so far presented - in undisclosed, historical and atmospheric venues - more than 500 short films from over 50 different countries to a crowd of more than 1500 film-enthusiasts and distributed 18 awards to encourage and promote a new generation of filmmakers.
All screened films are either english spoken or subtitled in english.
The 6th and upcoming most fantastic edition of the festival is taking place in May/June 2014!
